Documentary: Walking Out of the Fire© - (A way back to your authentic self)

“If you could go back in time and have a conversation with yourself when you were going through an abusive relationship, what advice would you give her”?
After my original story, Walking Out of the Fire© was published (ISBN#1-4241-4095-1) I decided that I would like to follow up with a documentary video/film and ask women to share their twenty/twenty vision called hindsight. What words would have made a difference to the choices you made when you were in an abusive relationship? What advice would have given you the courage to leave? How would you explain to her that type of relationship isn't love? These are just some of the questions I would propose.
By sharing their hard earned wisdom, these interviews will reveal amazing women who not only survived this type of challenge, but flourished. Through their insights and revelations, they will enlighten other women that may be struggling to understand how they can heal.
The intent of the documentary is to present these stories and perhaps someone, somewhere hears exactly what she needs to hear, at the precise moment she needs to hear it. I for one would have loved to have had a mentor – even in my darkest hours, a part of me would have heard her message.
Note: Although it is understood by the author that some men suffer abusive relationships also, this documentary is focussed on my perceptions and experiences as a woman; so it may appear one sided because it is.
What to Know:
§ Know you are making a difference.
§ Time Length: Any length is acceptable between 2 – 15 mins.

§ All submissions will remain confidential and will not be published without your written consent.
§ No submissions will be returned.
§ If any submission needs to be edited for length, you will be consulted whenever possible.
§ If your interview is chosen for the documentary, you will be informed and a permission form will be sent to you for your signature.
§ You will not be expected to travel, I will come to you.
§ Any interviews used in the documentary will not generate any remuneration or royalties – you will gain much more than financial reward – you may just help someone save their life!
